The final stall of 2025, sited in Witney Market on Dec 13, raised £240, taking the total for the year to just over £5,530.

Chair Dave Thompson says: "It's an excellent figure and thanks go to everyone for such great support during the year. Looking forward already to 2026 !"

Witney Market is much bigger these days and a steady footfall on a sunny but chilly day produced a healthy sum especially as the market itself closes around 3 pm in winter.

Says Dave: "Special thanks to Dave North and John Makeham for running the stall and also keen supporter Helen Benton whose fabulous knitwear made close on £40 on the day."
