£2K TOPPED

A stall in Witney Market made £260 in mid-April taking the branch comfortably over £2K for the year so far. Thanks to Rhys Williams, Dave North. and John Makeham for their valuable time and effort.

Meanwhile, our Mayday-Mile-A-Day challenge has so far made £822 which takes the total amount the branch has raised in the first four months of 2026 to around £3K.

Chair Dave Thompson said: "I'm confident Helen Benton and I can crack our £1K target and maybe end top of the team leaderboard ! "

Next up on May 30 is Tesco at Cowley in Oxford, a new venue for the branch. Dave said: "Tesco always has good footfall so it will be interesting to see how we get on."
