TESCO TOPS AGAIN

Tesco at Faringdon turned up trumps again with£431 raised in the branch's latest outing in August.

Taking into account an extra £180 from boxes collected by Roger Watts earlier in the month the total for the year stands around £4.8K.

Chair Dave Thompson said:: ""Even though it was still quite hot in Faringdon there were as ever loads of people donating and showing a keen interest in the RNLI and all it does."

Dave said: "Next up on Saturday, September 26 is in one of the courtyards at Blenheim Palace where there's always a good footfall whatever the time of year."
