Running the "Shop and Drop" marquee at the Blenheim Flower Show in mid-June raised a total of £609 .
Working in conjunction with Oxford branch's Tim and Steph Hayes, their 11-year-old niece Mel and two of their branch volunteers the marquee kept tabs over the weekend on more than 530 plants, ornaments, picnic baskets -- and even a rocking chair.
Chair Dave Thompson says; "It was exceedingly busy with a massive footfall and a great atmosphere. We're already planning to be there again next year."
Thanks to John Makeham and Jo for their Saturday stint and on Sunday Mandy Flint (filling in for Stephen) and her friend and neighbour Claire Mellor.
Thanks also to Tim and Steph and tireless Mel plus Oxford committee members Lucas and Ella.
Sharing the take more or less 50/50 and omitting £138 of Oxford retail, Faringdon made just over £209.
Dave says: "It's a great result all round and nice to see so many new faces."
Including just over £1K from the Mayday Mile a Day challenge the brnach now stands at over £3.7 K for the year with six months still to go.
Next up: Witney, Woolgate Market, by Waitrose - Saturday, August 8 followed by Tesco, Faringdon on August 22.
