£8K TIPPED, NEXT UP TESCO, ABINGDON

Volunteers tipped the branch past the £8K mark for 2024 after a mid-December stall in Witney Market raised £187 and Adrian Pitts's Reindeer Run yielded over £300

Chair Dave Thompson says: "Thanks to Adrian and also to John Makeham for manning the stall for the second occasion in a week --- this latest on a chilly Witney morning."

Confirmation has swiftly followed permission has been granted once more for a stall by the exit to Tesco in Abingdon on January 18.

Said Dave: "That will be a super way to start 2025 as that particular site has always attracted great support."

The original target of £7K for 2024 has been easily exceeded and various ventures are already under consideration for 2025.. They include a presence at stores in Botley Road, Oxford plus possible accounts with such as Facebook or Instagram.

Dave said: "In the meantime my very best thanks to all for such a successful 2024."
