BRANCH BREAKS £4.2K MARK

A-stall by Waitrose in Witney on August 8 raised £440, taking the branch to £4.2 K for the year..

Chair Dave Thompson said: "I knew it was going to be a good day when we took £23 in the first five minutes !"

Footfall was as busy as ever despite the continuing high temperatures and there were some interesting chats with people holding strong family connections with RNLII stations round the coast.
